Encumber funds for outstanding FY26 TechBuy orders

If you have TechBuy orders that haven’t been invoiced or fulfilled yet, your department may need to encumber funds before fiscal year-end. Orders still in processing, awaiting shipment, or pending vendor action all count as outstanding.

• Review your open TechBuy orders
• Determine whether funding can be encumbered
• Submit encumbrance requisitions early enough for approval routing
