If a TechBuy order won’t be invoiced or fulfilled before your funding expires, your department can encumber funds in AggieBuy to keep that money available. Orders still in processing, awaiting shipment, or pending vendor action all count as outstanding — and orders with serial number requirements, bulk quantities, custom specifications, or back-ordered hardware are the most likely to carry over.
