When a standard laptop starts to struggle, this is the next step up. The ZBook 8 G2i is a certified mobile workstation built for the work that bogs down ordinary machines — GIS and mapping, 3D modeling, statistical analysis, CAD, and imagery or dataset processing.

At its core is an Intel Core Ultra 7 366H, part of Intel’s newest Core Ultra Series 3 generation. It brings 16 cores built on Intel’s latest 18A manufacturing process and a redesigned AI engine rated at 50 TOPS — enough to qualify as a Copilot+ PC and to run AI-assisted tools locally rather than in the cloud.

Paired with it is a dedicated NVIDIA RTX PRO 500 Blackwell graphics card with its own 6GB of memory, certified for professional applications rather than borrowing from system RAM. Add 32GB of memory and a 1TB Gen5 SSD and there’s headroom for large datasets and multiple heavy applications at once.

It’s still a laptop you can carry. At 0.75″ thick with a 77Wh battery and 140W USB-C fast charging, it handles a full day of field work or back-to-back meetings. The 16″ screen leaves room for a full numeric keypad, and built-in Ethernet means no dongle for wired connections in the lab or office.
